JazzRadio Berlin is Germany’s only 24/7 jazz radio station. The radio station has a broadcasting licence from the Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg and has now been on air in Germanys capital for 21 years. The station also has a license to broadcast in the Hanseatic city of Rostock by the Baltic Sea. JazzRadio is not aimed at a special age group. It’s 314,000 listeners come from all age groups, two thirds of them are under 50 years old. The audience is almost equally divided between men and women.
